BERNARD H. KRAKOWER
Principal
Bernard H. Krakower is presently
a Principal with KRAKOWER GROUP, INC. a management
consulting and executive resource firm, with offices in Santa
Barbara and Santa Monica, California, providing services to
high growth, start up, mid-size and large corporations on
a domestic and an international basis. Mr. Krakower has more than thirty years
of experience in organizational planning and executive search
in both domestic and international companies. |
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising
from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1960, Mr. Krakower
spent the next five years with Lytton Financial Corporation. He
then joined James R. Colvin and Associates, a consulting firm in
Los Angeles that provided organizational planning services to companies,
such as Computer Sciences Corporation, Hitco, ITT Gilfillan, Standard
Oil of Indiana and Lockheed. In 1967, Mr. Krakower joined Scientific
Data Systems and instituted and directed an aggressive and successful
recruiting program for marketing, sales and operating systems development
in North America and the United Kingdom. From 1969 to 1971, Mr.
Krakower was a founder and Director of Operations for Executive
Search at Tratec, Inc., which provided services, products and systems
to improve sales and marketing for established and emerging high
growth companies worldwide.
In 1971, Mr. Krakower founded Krakower & Associates
Inc., an executive search firm. Then, in 1979, he formed Krakower/Brucker
International, Inc., a unique California based management consulting,
due diligence and executive search firm that specialized in high
technology and high growth industries, where he was Chairman until
1987. The company had up to sxteen people in recruiting, research
and administration serving on a domestic and international basis.
Mr. Krakower earned a Master of Business Administration
degree in the Presidential Key Executive Program from the Graduate
School of Management at Pepperdine University. He was past Chairman
of the Los Angeles Business Council and the Los Angeles Chamber
Foundation which helped establish a 23 acre regional park in West
Los Angeles. Mr. Krakower is a member of the Board of Visitors for
the George L. Graziadio Graduate School of Business & Management
at Pepperdine University. He was recently President of the Los Angeles
Countywide Citizens Planning Council Commission and was also on
the Advisory Board to the Ambassador Foundation's Performing Arts
in Pasadena, California and National Jewish Hospital for Immunology
and Respiratory Medicine in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Krakower is married, has three children and resides
in Santa Barbara, California.
RENNY MINTZ
Associate
Renny Mintz has been associated with Krakower Group, Inc. since
1991. She is a leading Research Consultant and has more than 30
years of executive search experience. She started in 1961 with Avery
& Associates in San Marino with responsibility for every facet
of human resources consulting. In 1969 she joined Bell & Howell
at their Data Systems Division in Pasadena, California in Market
Research. She then joined the national search firm, Wilkinson, Sedwick
& Yelverton in Los Angeles in research and recruiting. After
three plus years she joined a new executive search firm called McCray,
Quinn & Associates in west Los Angeles as Director of Research
until late 1978.
Since 1979, she has focused on research and ancillary
services such as references and due diligence in almost every industry
with a great concentration in various aspects of high technology.
She has provided enormous amounts of research material for both
the computer, software, telecommunications and bio-medical industries.
She has extensive knowledge of high technology companies and their
respective organizations.
Ms. Mintz attended the University of California
at Los Angeles and took a variety of program courses, as well as
continuing education programs.
